Yogini Siri Rishi (Founder / Director)  has been teaching Kundalini Yoga through out the East Coast for more than a decade. She is a certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher.  She did her first teacher training 14 years ago with Ravi Singh in NYC, and further trained with her mentor Hari Kaur Khalsa. Siri Rishi was an assistant in Hari Kaur’s KRI teacher training for 5 years. She delivers this ancient technology authentically and with reverence. Yoga has saved her life and has given her the tools to make the impossible possible. For the last 5 years Siri Rishi was a lead teacher with Bent On Learning, teaching Yoga to a diverse population of youth in the NYC Public School System. She is a nomad at heart and a lover of nature, when not teaching in NYC you can find her hosting local and international retreats in Costa Rica and other high frequency destinations with RISHI RETREATS. She is in a constant state of joy, and gratitude, for this amazing technology and to her beloved teachers Yogi Bhajan, Hari Kaur, Gurmukh, Ravi Singh, All of the Elements, and many more. Siri Rishi’s classes are challenging, fun & uplifting, with a deep focus on meditation, mantra, and Gong sound healing. She delivers the teachings in a practical down to earth fashion, making the practice relevant and applicable to your life. “It is my belief that my daughter Jaya-Paul brought Yoga into my life. imgres-8Patrick Hogan attained his 500 hour certification through William Duprey’s A Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, and his 200 hour certification through Sonic Yoga. He teaches with a Hatha focus and philosophy along with Vinyasa sequencing. Patrick also uses his knowledge of Alexander technique, athletic training, and movement-theatre to influence his teaching. Classes are created on a theme and incorporate asana with pranayama, mantra, and meditation.

 

Katie on 145th

Katie Cercone has been practicing yoga for fifteen years. Originally from Santa Rosa, California, she became a certified yoga instructor in 2011 at Namaste Yoga & Tranquility Center in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Katie believes yoga is a powerful healing modality and potent source of consciousness raising worldwide. Her approach to teaching incorporates energetic principles and views asanas (poses) as tools for infiinte transformation and mind/body balance. She is also a Reiki 1 Healer and incorporates light healing touch into her classes. In addition to teaching Hatha Vinyasa style yoga Katie is an interdisciplinary artist, writer and co-leader of the radical feminist collective Go! Push Pops.

-2Jasmine Ben Reuven is a somatic movement educator, dedicated to helping others restore and expand optimal movement patterns, functions and dynamic well being through a variety of movement modalities. Jasmine has a deep understanding of how our body reflects our internal conditions and uses her intuitive abilities and gifted touch to guide students in a unique way toward optimal well being and empowerment. Her approach is committed to directing, learning, growth and change according to each individual’s unique needs and ultimately to cultivate a state of coherence within the entire self.

Jasmine is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais* Practitioner as well as a certified Hatha Yoga Teacher. She is a Reiki Level 1 Practitioner and a fitness trainer. She has been a dedicated practitioner of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan for over 10 years. Jasmine holds a BA in Psychology and Anthropology with concentration in functional anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and behavioral psychology. Jasmine’s work is informed by over 15 years of experience and ongoing studies in somatics, spirituality, improvisational dance/ performance, eastern philosophy, mind-body medicine and creating conditions for optimal health and empowerment.

Ishtar/ Dev Atma Kaur is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher who is endlessly grateful and honored to be teaching atHarlem’s Beloved Yogi. Ishtar’s vision has always been to serve; to serve humanity and the planet as a guide/teacher/source for all sentient beings in developing a deeper awareness of themselves.Her mission is to be a conduit in the journey of awakening to or rather remembering one’s divinity. She strongly believes that spirituality and all of its many facets, is a powerful gateway tothe heart which is the gateway to source. She has visited many paths and with all sincerity believes that each holds a treasure. In her experience, Kundalini yoga has served to be a powerful technology for transcendence and deeper understanding of self. It is a gift available to us through the grace of the universe toperceive, experience, and ultimately harmonize the powerful conversation between mind, body and spirit. Ishtar is also an LCSW with a Masters in Clinical Social Work from New York University.  She has dedicated the majority of her career in supporting and empowering urban communities throughout New York City with both spiritual and psychotherapy modalities. She is the founder of Meraki, a collective that is dedicated to her passions of assisting others in their path to their innategrandiosity, beauty and divinity through a myriad of magicaland esoteric tools. She is here to assist in any way she can and tosupport this very vital conversation of ascension on our planet at this time.  She is dedicated to helping you grow closer to your truth, your power, your source, LOVE!
